Return Policy

Kanvass items can be returned within 14 days of receipt. Please note:

  • Only unopened products can be returned for a full refund.
  • Items that qualified for “free shipping” will be refund minus shipping fees. Shipping fees are not refundable.
  • Opened but unused products may be returned for a 25% restocking fee.
  • All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) from Kanvass. The warehouse will refuse any returns without the RMA.
  • Return shipping fees for product eligible for a refund are payable by the customer. 

Authorized items must be returned in new and unused condition, in the original packaging, and include all paperwork and parts. Items not returned in the above condition will fail inspection and will not be refunded.

Kanvass will not compensate for damages incurred during product installation or use. Kanvass will not reimburse for labour charges or installation fees, under any circumstances.

  • Kanvass Specialists will provide you with an RMA# and email you detailed return instructions.
  • Clearly write and/or affix the RMA# on the package and return to the address specified in our email.
  • Once the package is received, the method of payment used to place the original order will be credited with the purchase price, minus the return shipping costs*.  The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Kanvass will send a confirmation email once the refund has been issued. Please allow 5-7 business days for the credit to be processed.

Non-refundable or exchangeable items include:

  • All international orders
  • All custom or commercial orders
  • All purchases made with preferred pricing and/or discount rates 

Exchanges on the above items will be made exclusively in cases of manufacturer defects or Kanvass error such as sending the wrong product(s) or color(s).

Defective items

Damages caused by shipping as well as manufacturing defects will be serviced through shipment of replacement components (if available) or, if deemed a total loss by Kanvass, the item will be exchanged for the same item (if available), at Kanvass’ cost. Kanvass reserves the right to give a credit or refund for components or products that are no longer available, at its discretion. 

Kanvass reserves the right to request proper documentation including pictures of product(s) subject to claim. All other returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee and shipment charges.

What should I do if I received the wrong product?

First, verify whether the item you ordered is the item you received. Simply compare the part number on the shipping receipt to the part number on your email order receipt.

If the numbers do not match, we may have shipped the wrong item. Contact us and we'll process your return, exchange the item for the correct one (if available) and send you a prepaid shipping label for your return item.

If the numbers do match, you may have ordered the wrong item. Contact us and we'll process your return by exchanging the item for the correct one (if available). In cases of customer error, shipping fees for the new and returned items will be charged to the customer.
